Goals: The 2026 Planning Committee is responsible for the following:
Improve our streetscape physically and increase engagement with East Passyunk through more sidewalk and street events.
Funds to supplement the high first responder costs for hosting events.
Upgrade our placemaking and safety elements (like lighting, sidewalk conditions, banners, etc.)
Create a legacy project vibrant art installation at our gateway, permanent wayfinding signage at key tourism spots (like Cheesesteak Row and the Singing Fountain)
Inclusion in the tourism transportation loops (such as the Philly Phlash)
Promotion of our 2026 Kick-off Flavors on the Ave event at the end of April 2026

Maintaining a list of Business Resources including grant opportunities, education, etc
Assign Block Captains or Liaisons for each type of business: restaurants, services, retail.
Collect business concerns and feedback.
