Women Mean Business is BACK on Thursday, March 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Society Hill Dance Academy (1919 East Passyunk Avenue)!
This year’s Women Mean Business will run a little differently than years past. Instead of a speaker-listener format, WMB 2026 will include roundtable discussions with seasoned female entrepreneurs from East Passyunk Avenue, rotating between tables to dive into hot topics and need-to-know information about starting and running a female-owned business. Attendees will have hands-on opportunities to network and mingle with Philadelphia entrepreneurs, and all are welcome to join for an evening of education, exploration, and kinship.
Tickets are available for $10 and include light refreshments from South Philly Food Co-op.
The topics and table leads for Women Mean Business 2026 are:
Building Community:
Catherine Lee, Owner of Le Virtù
Managing Money:
LeeAnn Gephart, EVP Chief Banking Officer at First Citizens Community Bank
Jessica Stipa, Branch Manager of United Savings Bank
Memberships & More:
Kelly Adorno, Owner of Movement Source
Sarah Crake and Meghan Marshall, Owners of Mysore Yoga
Building Your Team:

Over half of East Passyunk Avenue's 200+ businesses are women-owned, making Women Mean Business an ideal event for female entrepreneurs in the Philadelphia area to connect, enhance their skills, and share lived experiences. This Women’s History Month, it’s more important than ever to embrace community, collaboration, and allyship. Join us at Society Hill Dance Academy on Thursday, March 12th for powerful discussions, informational resources, and a chance to network with thriving entrepreneurs!
Women Mean Business 2026 is presented by the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, with support from First Citizens Community Bank, Milk Jawn, South Philly Food Co-Op and Society Hill Dance Academy. Follow @eastpassyunk for updates!
