Volunteer

The East Passyunk Avenue Business District operates under the State of Pennsylvania’s Main Street Model. We have a full time Main Street Manager, and four active volunteer-based committees. These committees need dedicated volunteers to function. Below is our meeting schedule anda brief description of what each committee is responsible for.

If you are unable to commit to a monthly committee meeting, we also need volunteers at all of our special events and for special projects, like cleaning and greening. Please let us know if you would like to be added to our volunteer list and we will contact you as needed.

All meetings are held at the BID office, but if you do not attend regularly please call the office to verify.


Promotions Committee
This committee is responsible for planning and executing promotional and marketing activities for the Business District.

First Tuesday of every month at 10am.


Design Committee
This committee is responsible for the upkeep and beautification of the Avenue. Programs include clean, green and safe, facades, gateways.

Economic Development
This committee is responsible for merchant/business recruitment and merchant retention.

Meeting dates and times vary.


Organizational Committee
This Committee evaluates the organization of the BID and adds community input into its activities.

Second Thursday of every month at 3:30pm.
