Understanding Our Unconscious Biases, A Workshop for Small Business Owners – Wednesday, October 28th at 10am https://ccp.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUrcO-tpzksHNakBBy0sdMci8D_gutpDnIR

The human mind has a natural tendency to make sense of things. Unfortunately, today’s sensory overload requires us to either – consciously or unconsciously – take ‘shortcuts’ to understand what we are experiencing in a particular set of circumstances and time. We rely on our past experiences to help us make decisions and act … hence, we utilize our biases. But how do we know our vision and perceptions of other people and situations are accurate and objective? To what extent my views pose a threat or an advantage to my business?

In our dialogue you will …

• Understand how bias impacts our decisions, behavior, etc.

• Explore how bias shows up in your business

• Develop strategies to mitigate the potential for bias
