** UNEXPECTED PHILADELPHIA WINDOWS
Look for the holiday windows at the corner of East Passyunk & Tasker with over two dozen almost life-sized photos of non-medical Essential Workers who have put themselves on the line for the Avenue and its visitors this year, including maintenance workers; city trash collectors; restaurant, grocery and pharmacy workers; firefighters and our very own bicycle patrolman, Officer Kelly; a mailman and newspaper delivery person; SEPTA bus and subway drivers, and more. The lighted windows will be on display from Thanksgiving week until New Year's week as a way of saying thanks from the neighborhood to everyone who contributed to our safety and happiness here during the pandemic.
