The Fountain Farmers Market is Back!
Starting on Wednesday, May 21 the Fountain Farmers Market is back for another season. Come and support the Farm to City Initiative every Wednesday from 3 pm to 7 pm. There will be a variety of food, produce, sweets, crafts and for the first time a masseuse. The Fountain Farmers Market is the place to be on Wednesday nights to catch up with neighbors and friends.

Flavors of the Avenue
On Saturday May 3 from 12 noon to 5pm come and enjoy the Flavors of East Passyunk Avenue.
This Spring Festival will feature sidewalk sales, music, food and children’s activities.
Stretching from Dickinson to McKean Streets along East Passyunk Avenue.

EPABID Easter Egg Hunt
Taking full advantage of the grass area, 1927 East Passyunk Avenue was the site of our first ever Easter Egg Hunt. Kids and Parents had a great time visiting with the Easter Bunny, decorating an egg bag and hunting for eggs. There were 2,000 eggs and 12 grand prize gift certificates. All the kids left happy with eggs full of candy and prizes.


PowWow on the Avenue

In celebration of our Indian Heritage here on the Avenue, (Passyunk is an Indian word meaning “river to river” ) on Thanksgiving Eve, the EPABID hosted PowWow on the Avenue. 25 neighbors and friends visited 9 bars and restaurants along East Passyunk Avenue lead by our own Indian Mascot. There were games and prizes at each location along with beverages and snacks. The night started early and ended late! Highlighted by Karaoke at Vincenzo’s and an egg race.



DooWop II on the Avenue Classic Car Show and Street Festival

The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District hosted it’s second DooWop Muscle Car Show on Sunday August 12. Over 80 muscle cars sizzled along the Avenue. Elvis Presley MC’ed the DooWop singing contest, won by Stan and The Topics. 2nd Chance came in 2nd Place and Re-Mixed took 3rd. Visitors enjoyed strolling the Avenue and grabbing a bite to eat at one of our award winning restaurants. A good time was had by all.
